ANN Goldstein: Translator of Elena Ferrante from Italian to English. Enabler of people to express themselves through word translation similarities. ANN relates to her own poor American upbringing. Literal minded refuses to translate poetry, too many levels. Prose = GROUND, translatable. ANN is a private person, claims to not be Elena Ferrante. Goal is to take FEELING from one language and express it in another, “I like to think of the individual words, then you put the word in the sentence, then you have to think about what that word means in the sentence.”

ANN Goldstein: curator of Art Institute. Translator of conceptual and minimal art of the 60’s and 70’s. Bachelor UCLA Studio Art, Cum Laude. Author of “A Minimal Future? Art as Object 1958-1968 (2004)”. Wrote short descriptions of the 1989 exhibition A Forest of Signs: Art in the Crisis of Representation, featuring artists who grew up with the emergence of television and its mass imagery.
